Jasmohan S. Bajaj, MD, MS is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Richmond VA Medical Center. An internationally recognized hepatology researcher and clinical leader, Dr. Bajaj has led major NIH- and VA-funded work in cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy, and acute-on-chronic liver failure. He serves as Co–Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Gastroenterology and has contributed to national guideline development in advanced liver disease. He will be presenting an update in the management of cirrhosis, with practical, evidence-based takeaways for clinicians caring for patients with advanced liver disease.
